Covid-19 updates

Monday 23rd March 08.00

The school is now closed to all but children of Key Workers. Wherever possible, arrangements should be made for children of key workers to remain at home, limiting the days they access school.

If you believe you are a key worker, please DO NOT bring your child to school today unless you have made arrangements with us, which have been confirmed by a return email or telephone call over the weekend, or before school begins this morning.

If you feel you will need a school place because of your work, have not yet been in contact with us and your child cannot remain at home, please email sltteam@montbelle.org.uk and I will be in touch this morning.

Class emails have been set up. If you have not received a test email, please contact sltteam@montbelle.org.uk stating your child’s name and class and I will resolve the issue this morning.

Thank you all for your ongoing support and cooperation.

Stay & Play at Montbelle

Due to the need to cover staff absences in school so that we can continue to run smoothly during these uncertain times, we are sadly postponing all Stay & Play sessions until further notice.

Unfortunately, this means that the Easter Bonnet Parade will be cancelled – however, as the children have already started working on their hats, we hope to hold the event in the near future and will notify you accordingly.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Montbelle School will remain open in line with Government and Public Health England guidance.

Anyone with a fever or a persistent cough should stay at home for 14 daysThis measure now also extends to anyone who lives with somebody displaying Coronavirus symptoms. Please note that this will mean if you or your child began a period of self-isolation this week because symptoms were evident at any point, you must now extend this period to 14 days (not the 7 days previously directed) and keep any other children in your household off school for the full period of 14 days.
